The Soul of Plants and the City – Petra Kral Illuminates Nature & Krems

Until the end of March, a very special exhibition was on display at the Galerie Kultur Mitte. Under the title “Plants & Krems – Life & Perspectives”, Krems-based photographer Petra Kral invited visitors into a world where nature and city merge in radiant harmony.

The exhibition revealed far more than beautiful scenery. Petra Kral managed to capture the quiet energy of plants with her camera – while simultaneously casting the familiar old town of Krems in a new light. Her photographs of classic Krems motifs were turned into a visual experience through a special metal effect, changing how viewers perceive seemingly ordinary things.

ChromaLuxe – A Stage for Radiant Visual Worlds

For the presentation of her work, Petra Kral deliberately chose ChromaLuxe – a high-quality medium known for its exceptional color brilliance, depth, and durability. Her subjects were carefully printed and produced at the Artstudio Traboch on Silver Gloss, White Gloss, and Silver Matte surfaces. This gave each image its own unique expression and a refined, almost glowing effect. The works were completed with a simple black wooden frame, 25 mm wide, which underscores the intensity of the photographs without drawing attention away from them.

Naturalness Without Interference – The Signature of Petra Kral

Petra Kral sees her work as a visual meditation on the perfection of nature. “I don’t interfere with nature,” she explains. “I merely play with contrast, intensity, and sharpness to make the soul of the plants visible.” Her approach is shaped by respect and wonder – and this is reflected in every one of her works.
