After its great success in Graz, the impressive exhibition View from Above can now be seen in Augsburg – and brings an impressive interplay of space photography, technology and aesthetics to the Augsburg Railway Park .
Experience Earth from an extraordinary perspective: through the eyes of NASA astronaut Terry Virts , who captured hundreds of photos and videos of our planet during his time aboard the International Space Station (ISS). These images provide a unique view of the beauty, diversity—and also vulnerability—of Earth from space.

Brilliant quality on durable material
The photographs were printed in exceptionally high quality on ChromaLuxe aluminum plates (White Matte) – a process known for its exceptional color intensity, depth of detail, and durability. This printing technique is ideal for traveling exhibitions, as it is not only visually impressive but also extremely resistant to environmental influences. Framed in high-quality wooden frames, the images unfold their full effect – like in a gallery under the stars.

Also convincing in private life: ChromaLuxe at Terry Virts’ home
Terry Virts is so convinced by the quality of the prints that he had his favorite images from space produced in the same ChromaLuxe finish for his own home. This underscores the high aesthetic and technical quality of the exhibition—not only for public spaces, but also for private living spaces.
